One year of blogging and this article has been by far my most viewed post. As I celebrate the end of the year I thought it would be worth reposting my top blogs. Thanks for all your support.
We have only had our travel trailer for one camping season but have quickly realized that gray water is one of the biggest challenges, especially when dry camping. We didn’t experience this problem in our tent trailer because we didn’t have hot water nor a holding tank. Now that we have both, I like the idea of showering at my site but with 2 teenagers and no hookups the gray water will fill up quickly. The solution: an outdoor shower stall at the back of the trailer. The problem: finding a way to make it private. I headed out to research this and here are my findings. Continue reading →
We all know how much dirt gets tracked in and out of an RV at any given time. Whether it be from the dogs, kids or any other visitor, I seem to sweep my RV several times a day. I would love to have a carpet under my feet when I am doing dishes but with all the dirt it just isn’t an option.
While researching for my blog I came across this washable nonslide rug that just might be the answer for us campers. Has anyone tried this product?
They are affordable, washable, and come in various sizes and colors. Sounds like the perfect partnership for camping. I just might have to try this out and if I do I will let you know how they work.

An entire new meaning of Porta-potty
When the kids where younger and we headed out camping we would laugh and say it would have been easier to just put a hitch on the house and bring it along. It felt like we brought everything in it. Well this picture, that a friend sent me, would have worked great for us, and the luxury would have been nice. Can anyone relate?
Thanks Teresa M. for the Pin.
